The Julietta Market is a non-profit multi-vendor public market in the heart of the redevelopment of a former bus station building at 101 W. Loudon Avenue in Lexington, KY. It will feature about 60 small business kiosks, including at least 8 food stalls along with a shared kitchen, a cultural performance stage, and kids programming.
Julietta Market will act as a platform that works in tandem with the monthly pop-up Night Market, to help entrepreneurs incrementally grow their businesses. NoLi CDC has operated 8 Night Markets a year since 2013.
Julietta Market will be even more critical in helping Lexington businesses rebound and rebuild after the economic downturns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Julietta Market is a chance to do something big, something impactful, something innovative, beautiful, unprecedented, and most importantly, something that embodies the mission of equity and opportunity. To be a place for all neighbors to come together to eat, to drink, to dance, to play, to make, create, and thrive. Let’s make this a public market that bucks the trend of bougie upscale food halls, and creates a new precedent of capitalizing on this archetype for a higher purpose - bringing equity and opportunity to a community.
